Clam Dip

Ingredients

Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened 1 (8 oz) block
Mince Clams (drained; reserve juice) 1 can
Lemon (juice of about half a lemon) ~1/4–1/2 tsp, to taste
Green Onion, chopped 1 green onion
Worcestershire Sauce A dash (to taste)
Onion Powder (or salt) To taste
Garlic Powder (or salt) To taste
Dried Parsley To taste
Reserved Clam Juice Add gradually for desired thickness

Instructions

Step Details
1. Blend Cream Cheese & Clams
  • In a metal bowl, use a beater to mix softened cream cheese and drained clams.
  • Add chopped green onion, a dash of Worcestershire sauce, and about 1/4–1/2 tsp of lemon juice.
2. Season to Taste
  • Add onion powder (or onion salt), garlic powder (or garlic salt), and dried parsley to taste.
  • Mix well.
3. Adjust Consistency
  • Slowly add reserved clam juice until you reach your desired dip thickness.
4. Serve
  • Transfer to a serving bowl; chill or serve immediately with chips or crackers.




Pumpkin Bread

Eggs 2
Oil 1 cup
Baking Soda 1 1/2 tsp
Water 2/3 cup
Cinnamon 1 tsp
Nutmeg 1 tsp
Pumpkin (canned or fresh purée) 2 cups
All-Purpose Flour 3 1/2 cups
Chopped Nuts (optional) 1/2 cup (optional)
Salt 1 1/2 tsp

Step Details
1. Mix Sugar & Eggs
  • In a large bowl, combine sugar and eggs; beat well.
2. Add Liquids & Dry Spices
  • Add oil, salt, baking soda, water, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Stir in pumpkin purée until combined.
3. Add Flour & Nuts
  • Gradually mix in flour. If using, fold in chopped nuts.
  • Blend until just combined.
4. Pour into Pans & Bake
  • Pour batter into greased and floured loaf pans.
  • Bake at 350°F for about 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Yield: 2 Loaves (or about 3 medium). Slice and enjoy!






Banana Nut Bread

Shortening 1 cup
Ripe Bananas 3
Eggs 2
Chopped Walnuts (optional) 3/4 cup
Flour 2 1/2 cups
Baking Powder 1 tsp
Salt 1/4 tsp
Soda Powder 1 tsp
Warm Water 1/2 cup

Step Details
1. Cream Together Sugar and Shortening
  • In a large bowl, cream together the sugar and shortening.
2. Mash Bananas
  • Mash bananas and add to the sugar mixture.
3. Add Eggs
  • Beat eggs and add to the mixture.
4. Combine Dry Ingredients
  • Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt, then add to the sugar mixture.
5. Prepare Soda Mixture
  • Blend soda powder and water together, then slowly add to the flour mixture.
6. Add Nuts
  • If using, stir in chopped walnuts.
7. Pour Batter into Pans
  • Pour mixture into greased and floured loaf pans.
8. Bake
  • Bake at 350°F for 50-60 minutes. Test doneness with a toothpick.

Yield: 2 large loaves or 3 medium loaves. Enjoy!

Crescent Rolls

Step Details
1. Dissolve Yeast
  • Place water in a large bowl and add yeast. Stir to dissolve.
2. Combine Ingredients
  • Add sugar, salt, oil, and egg. Mix well.
  • Add flour 1 cup at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight.
3. Prepare Dough
  • Take dough out of the fridge 3 hours before baking.
  • Divide into 4 parts and roll each into a circle.
4. Shape Rolls
  • Cut circles like a pizza. Butter each piece and roll from the wide end to the small end.
  • Butter tops and let rise for 2-2 1/2 hours.
5. Bake
  • Bake at 400°F for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown.

Yield: 32 Rolls





Deviled Eggs

1. Cook Eggs
  • Hard boil eggs using your preferred method (e.g., 5-5-5 Instant Pot method).
  • Cool eggs in cold water.
2. Prepare Yolks
  • Peel eggs, slice in half, and remove yolks into a bowl.
  • Mash yolks with a fork.
3. Mix Filling
  • Mix yolks with mayo, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • Add Sriracha for a spicy kick, if desired.
4. Fill & Garnish
  • Spoon or pipe mixture into egg whites.
  • Garnish with parsley flakes and paprika.
